A man from India has been arrested in Nepal for allegedly fleeing the scene of a motorcycle accident in which he was involved.
According to the District Police Office in Saptari, the suspect was taken into custody on charges of hit-and-run.
The incident occurred in Shambhunath Municipality, Saptari, where the Indian national was riding a motorcycle.
Police say the man abandoned the injured victim on the road and escaped.
The suspect is from Madhubani, India.
