The Kathmandu Valley’s sky, which had been cloudy due to several days of rain and dense clouds, cleared up today. The weather in the valley looks clear with partial sunshine since morning, although some light clouds still linger in the sky.
With the weather clearing up, the northern Himalayan range is visible from various locations in the valley. The surrounding hills, covered in greenery, also look attractive in the clean environment after the rain.
The general public has been able to view the Himalayas for the first time in a long time due to the clear weather. The rain has washed away the dust and increased visibility, and the natural beauty of the valley has also been highlighted.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, although the monsoon system is active, there was no rain in the valley on Thursday morning, causing the weather to clear up slightly. However, meteorologists say that there is still a possibility of local cloud development and rain in some areas in the afternoon or evening.
