High Court Janakpur Achieves Swift Justice: All Cases Over Two Years Old Disposed

Janakpur. The High Court Janakpur has successfully disposed of more cases than its target in the fiscal year 2082/83.

According to the court’s statistics, out of the total 6,516 cases, including 2,267 cases carried over from the previous year and 2,249 new cases, 4,619 cases have been disposed of, which is 70.88% of the total cases.

Chief Justice Teknarayan Kunwar said that the court has been able to dispose of all cases over two years old, prioritizing old cases and working with a strategic plan.

The court had set a target to dispose of 4,546 cases in the current fiscal year, but it has exceeded the target by disposing of 4,619 cases.

The court estimates that 6,826 new cases may be registered in the next fiscal year.
