Talks Underway in Dhangadhi Over Dr Govinda KC’s Demands

Talks between the government team and representatives of Dr Govinda KC have been ongoing in Dhangadhi for six hours.

The meeting, which started at the Seti Provincial Hospital, is being held in the office of Medical Superintendent Dr Hemraj Pandey.

The government team includes Prime Minister’s health advisor JP Agrawal, Member of Parliament Pukar Bam, Secretary at the Ministry of Education and Sports Chudamani Poudel, and Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Food Safety Dr Vikas Devkota.

Dr KC’s team includes his associates Dr Amrit Jaisi and Pawan Thapa.

Dr KC, who has been on a hunger strike in Dhangadhi since Thursday, is currently admitted to the hospital’s ICU.

He has continued his hunger strike from the ICU.

The government team had arrived in Dhangadhi on Saturday and met Dr KC on Sunday morning.
