A central security meeting was held at the Home Ministry to discuss the recent incident in Sunsari, where one person was killed in a clash between two groups.

The meeting, which was attended by top security officials, including the Home Secretary, Inspector General of Police, and representatives from the Nepal Army, discussed the Sunsari incident and the overall security situation in the country.

According to sources, the meeting decided to form a committee to investigate the Sunsari incident and to take necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

The committee, which is headed by the Home Ministry’s Joint Secretary Bhupendra Thapa, has been given a week to submit its report.

The Home Ministry’s spokesperson, Rama Acharya, said that the committee will also provide suggestions on how to prevent such incidents from happening again.

The Sunsari incident has sparked widespread protests in the area, with locals demanding action against those responsible for the killing.

The Home Minister, Sudhan Gurung, had called a meeting with top security officials earlier today to discuss the incident and the security situation in the country.
