PM Balendra Shah Directs Security Agencies to Maintain Peace and Order in Sunsari

Prime Minister Balendra Shah has directed the security agencies to maintain peace and order in Sunsari, following a recent incident in the area.

According to the Prime Minister’s Press and Research Director, Deepa Dahal, PM Shah held a detailed briefing with the chiefs of the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force, Nepal, to discuss the current situation in Sunsari, security challenges, and potential risks.

Home Minister Sudan Gurung was also present during the briefing. PM Shah instructed the security agencies to bring the situation in Sunsari under control immediately, ensure the safety of citizens and their property, and keep a close watch on elements trying to disrupt social harmony.

The Prime Minister also directed the security agencies not to make any compromises in maintaining peace and order and to operate with high alertness under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
