Nepali Congress Holds ‘Green Run’ on BP Koirala’s 44th Memorial Day

Nepali Congress has organised a 5-kilometre ‘Green Run’ on the 44th memorial day of Jananayak and Nepal’s first elected Prime Minister BP Koirala.

The run, held under the slogan ‘Let’s Unite to Raise Climate Awareness’, was inaugurated by Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa from UN Park this morning.

The run will start from UN Park and conclude at Jawalakhel. After the run, the Nepali Congress will host a group discussion on ‘Climate Change Challenges and Solutions’ with experts at a tent in Jawalakhel Chowk.

At the event venue, various renowned artists will present the challenges, impacts, and possibilities of climate change through their artwork.
