Nepal’s Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management has made arrangements to recognize health certificates issued by doctors registered with the Nepal Medical Council for the purpose of obtaining a driver’s license.
This move aims to streamline the process of obtaining a driver’s license by allowing only registered doctors to provide health certificates, thereby ensuring that only eligible individuals are issued licenses.
Previously, the process of obtaining a driver’s license involved a series of complex steps, including a medical examination by a licensed doctor.
With this new arrangement, the ministry hopes to simplify the process and reduce the hassle for applicants, while also ensuring that public safety is maintained by only issuing licenses to those who meet the required health standards.
