A 40-year-old man from Jhyawak in Gorkha has gone missing after being swept away by the Darau River.
According to the District Police Office in Gorkha, Shamsher Nepali, who had gone to bathe in the river at Talphute Ghats in Ajirkot Rural Municipality-4, was carried away by the strong currents.
Police Sub-Inspector Raj Kumar Shrestha said that a search operation has been underway since 1 pm on Thursday to locate Nepali.
