Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has criticized the country’s state-run news channel IRIB for selectively airing a part of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s statement.
According to Pezeshkian, Khamenei had initially agreed to hold talks with the US, but the TV channel only focused on the part of the statement where Khamenei rejected the negotiations.
Pezeshkian condemned the misleading comments being made about the negotiations and appealed for unity and cooperation.
Meanwhile, the US military’s Central Command (CENTCOM) launched a series of attacks on various targets in Iran on Wednesday morning, which reportedly lasted for about an hour.
