India’s Energy Secretary Pankaj Agarwal has inspected the 900-megawatt Arun 3 hydroelectric project, currently under construction in Sankhuwasabha.
The project, being developed by SJVN Arun 3 Power Development Company, is a significant undertaking in Nepal’s energy sector.
During the site visit, the Energy Secretary was accompanied by other high-ranking officials from the Indian government.
The Arun 3 hydroelectric project is expected to play a crucial role in meeting Nepal’s growing energy demands and reducing the country’s reliance on imported fuel.
