Kathmandu. Heavy rainfall in the federal capital, Kathmandu, has caused various roads and intersections to be flooded.
The rain has caused water to accumulate on the roads, making it difficult for vehicles to pass through. The main road near the Maitighar area, which is just a few meters away from the main administrative center, Singha Durbar, is completely flooded.
The flooding has also caused traffic congestion in the area, with vehicles struggling to move forward. Pedestrians are also finding it difficult to walk through the flooded roads.
The heavy rainfall has caused disruptions in the daily life of the people in Kathmandu, with many areas experiencing flooding and waterlogging.
According to the locals, the flooding is caused by the poor drainage system in the city, which is unable to handle the heavy rainfall.
The authorities have not yet commented on the situation, but the locals are demanding immediate action to address the issue.
