Flooding Brings Kathmandu’s Streets to a Standstill

A relentless downpour on Thursday has caused flooding on the streets of Kathmandu, disrupting traffic and leaving commuters stranded.

The city’s roads have become chaotic, with traffic management severely affected. Office-goers trying to head home after work have been left stranded in the middle of the road.

The flooding has also affected various corridors, including Dhobikhola and Bagmati, with several areas experiencing inundation. The inner city roads have also been impacted, with the flooding affecting vehicular movement.

With the help of the police, locals are working to rescue vehicles stranded in the floodwaters.
