A woman’s charred body was found inside a car in Kathmandu on Saturday.
The body of 41-year-old Rashmi Rijal, a resident of Tarkeshwor Municipality-9, was discovered in the back seat of the vehicle, according to SSP Dilip Ghimire of the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.
The car was parked near the Chunidevi Brick Kiln in Kalebas, Tarkeshwor Municipality-1.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, and the body has been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj for post-mortem examination.
No further details have been released about the circumstances surrounding Ms Rijal’s death.
