Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has made serious allegations against Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of using students as a political tool to disrupt the monsoon session of Parliament.

Pradhan stated that Gandhi’s decision to stage a protest outside the Prime Minister’s residence caused problems for the general public and disregarded security protocols.

He further claimed that the government had made its intentions clear for a full discussion, but the Congress party chose to engage in a political display instead of a democratic debate. Pradhan alleged that the Congress party’s goal was not to find a solution to the students’ problems but to create obstacles for political gain.

Government Ready for Discussion

Pradhan emphasized that the government is ready to discuss the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and is committed to addressing the concerns of the youth in Parliament. He stated that the students of India deserve better treatment and not to be made part of a political campaign.

Pradhan added that the government is responsible not only for addressing the students’ anger but also for providing answers, improvements, and accountability. He assured that the government is fully committed to working on these issues.

Earlier, Congress MPs led by Rahul Gandhi staged a protest on Tuesday, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The protesters were detained and later released from the Chhatrasal Stadium.
