Two Parliamentary Committees Meet Today

Two committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today.

The Finance Committee and the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee are set to convene their meetings. The Finance Committee meeting is scheduled for 9:15 am at Singh Durbar.

The agenda for the Finance Committee meeting includes a discussion on the proposed bill to amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058, with concerned stakeholders. The meeting has invited the President of the Nepal Bankers’ Association and the President of the Bank and Financial Institutions Association of Nepal.

Meanwhile, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee meeting is scheduled for 9:00 am at Singh Durbar. The meeting is expected to discuss the report submitted by the sub-committee on the inspection and observation of the human rights situation of children in juvenile reform homes, with the Ministry of Women, Children, Gender and Social Security.
