Two Indian nationals were arrested in Dhanusha after a shootout with police, who seized a significant amount of brown heroin from them.
The arrest was made by the Narcotics Control Bureau and the Area Police Office, Dhalkebar, on Friday near the Dhalkebar bridge.
According to DSP Madhusudan Nyaupane, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Dhanusha, 95.59 grams of brown heroin were found on the two individuals.
The arrested individuals have been identified as 28-year-old Santosh Kumar Mahato and 45-year-old Mithilesh Sah, both Indian nationals.
Police fired warning shots in the air during the arrest, officials said.
