Two individuals have been taken into custody by the Armed Police Force in Chandragiri, Kathmandu, with a large quantity of narcotics.
According to the Armed Police Force, 39-year-old Anil Deula from Kirtipur Municipality-9 and 24-year-old Sumitra Rai from Gaighat, Udayapur, currently residing in Chandragiri Municipality-4, were apprehended on Sunday.
The arrest was made based on information that Deula was involved in the narcotics trade. A team from the Armed Police Force seized 15,000 capsules of Tramadol, 1,188 Diazepam and Ferenagan tablets, and 150 Polen tablets from Deula’s residence.
Both individuals are currently being processed for necessary action and will be handed over to the relevant authorities.
