Two individuals have been arrested in Khotang with a homemade pistol.
According to the District Police Office in Khotang, 28-year-old Urgen Rai and 24-year-old Dipen Rai from Sakela Municipality-1, Bhanjyangchyan Danda, Sekhuwa were arrested on Friday.
Inspector Nirajan Basnet, information officer at the District Police Office in Khotang, stated that the arrests were made based on information about the hidden homemade pistol.
Along with the two individuals, police recovered a homemade pistol, five pieces of metal wrapped in paper, two pouches of a black powdery substance resembling gunpowder, and three pieces of salai khatta (a type of metal rod).
