Three Arrested, One Fugitive in Knife Attack Outside Visit Karnali Dohori Evening in Nepal

A knife attack occurred outside the Visit Karnali Dohori Evening in Biratnagar, Nepal, leaving one person injured.

According to the District Police Office in Surkhet, the incident took place at around 10 pm on Friday, Ashar 1, 2083. A group of four people attacked 33-year-old Jeevan Kumar Shahi, a resident of Kalagaun, with a khukuri (a type of Nepali knife).

Shahi sustained injuries to his head and was taken to the Karnali Province Hospital in Kalagaun for treatment. His condition is reported to be moderate.

Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the attack, including 19-year-old Roshan Shahi, 18-year-old Bharat Bogati, and 16-year-old Suman Nepali. A fourth suspect, 26-year-old Harish Rokaya, is currently on the run.
