Three Arrested in Kuleshwar After Police Fire Shots

Police in Kuleshwar, Kathmandu, have taken three individuals into custody after firing two rounds of shots on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Narcotics Control Bureau, two Nepalis and one Indian national were arrested, and all three are alleged to be involved in the illicit drug trade.

Police claim that 24,700 ampules of Tramadol were recovered from the arrested individuals. The Indian national, who was shot in the leg, is currently undergoing treatment at the Trauma Centre.

Chief of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Senior Superintendent of Police Subas Chandra Bohora, stated that the Indian national had been under surveillance and was found to have entered Nepal via Nepalgunj on Sunday.

‘We had been searching for him since before, and we were able to apprehend him in Kathmandu today,’ Bohora said.
