A shooting incident has occurred in Teku, Kathmandu, leaving one person injured. According to the police, the incident took place near the waste collection center in Teku, Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
The police’s Narcotics Control Bureau team had gone to the area following a tip-off about the illegal drug trade. However, the team was attacked, and in the ensuing confrontation, the police fired shots, injuring one person.
The injured person is reportedly a citizen of India. The police have arrested three people, including the injured individual, in connection with the incident. Further investigation is underway.
