National independent party Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has launched its ‘Janasamvad Yatra’ (People’s Dialogue Journey) in Shuklaphanta Municipality of Kanchanpur district.
The journey was inaugurated by Deepak Raj Bohara, a member of the House of Representatives elected from Kanchanpur constituency No. 2, from Ward No. 1 of Shuklaphanta Municipality.
Speaking at the people’s dialogue program organized by the Shuklaphanta Municipal Committee of RSP, Bohara said that the party has started the dialogue to listen to the voices of the people, to find solutions with the people, and to further strengthen the culture of responsible politics.
On the first day of the dialogue, Bohara and other RSP leaders met and interacted with the citizens of Bansaha and Kalagaudi areas of Ward No. 12 of Shuklaphanta Municipality.
‘We are accountable, people do not just elect and forget’, Bohara said, ‘We are not like other leaders, we will come. We have also promised to hold public hearings every six months’.
Bohara said that he will work responsibly towards the people and will visit every ward to listen to the grievances of the citizens.
‘We will prioritize the work at the ward level and be active in solving the problems of the people’, he said.
Harish Dhhami, president of the Shuklaphanta Municipal Committee of RSP, said that the dialogue will continue.
He said that discussions are being held on local issues and solutions through the dialogue journey.
RSP central members Vijay Jairu, Sudurpaschim Province spokesperson Tej Thakulla, district secretary Rakesh Chand, and constituency No. 2 regional president Ganesh Khadka, among other leaders, participated in the inaugural program of the dialogue.
