Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has left the Dusit Thani Resort in Kavrepalanchok, returning to Kathmandu.
Chairman Lamichhane and Deputy Chairman and Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle had arrived at the resort on Saturday. Lamichhane, accompanied by his wife Nikita, left the hotel a short while ago.
According to security sources, he is heading back to Kathmandu. Dr. Wagle is also expected to leave shortly.
On Saturday, Finance Minister Wagle entered the resort at 3 pm, followed by Chairman Lamichhane and his wife Nikita at 3:20 pm. They stayed at the villa, which is an investment of Deputy Chairman and Finance Minister Wagle.
The meeting between Chairman Lamichhane and Deputy Chairman and Finance Minister Wagle has been seen as significant, especially after recent discussions about the coordination between the government and the party.
