Private Hospital Treatment to be More Expensive from Today

Kathmandu. The government’s decision to impose a 3 percent ‘health equality fee’ on private health institutions through the Financial Bill 2083 has made treatment services more expensive in such hospitals starting from Shrawan 1.

Three percent health equality fee will be levied on the patients. The private hospitals have stated that the fee will be added to the patients’ bills.
