As temperatures rise, the number of patients at Janakpur Eye Hospital has increased.
Currently, around 400 to 500 patients visit the hospital daily, up from the previous average of 300 patients per day.
According to Dr. Ashish Bohara, the hospital’s director, most of the patients are children and elderly individuals seeking treatment.
Patient numbers have increased from districts such as Saptari, Mahottari, and Sindhuli, as well as from the Indian state of Bihar.
