Kathmandu. The new bus park in Gongabu, Kathmandu, has decided to take action against passengers who misbehave and cause trouble.

A joint meeting of the Nepal Transport Workers’ Union, the Nepal Police, and the Lotse Multipurpose Complex held on Thursday decided to make the bus park a safe and passenger-friendly place.

Recently, the government has been cracking down on unruly passengers and troublemakers at bus parks in various areas of the city, including Kalanki, Koteshwar, Balkhu, and Chabahil.

According to Police Inspector Shankar Shrestha, the police have been taking strict action against those who cause trouble and spread rumors at the bus park.

The meeting also instructed drivers, conductors, and other staff to wear uniforms and carry identification cards.

The Lotse Multipurpose Complex, which manages the bus park, has been working to maintain discipline and improve the transportation service.

The new bus park, located on the banks of the Vishnumati River in Gongabu, covers an area of 161 ropanis and operates public transportation services to over 60 districts.
