Nepal’s Communist Party (NCP) co-chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has returned home after completing a five-day political visit to Sri Lanka.
He was welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport by party leaders and cadres.
During his visit, Prachanda participated as the main speaker at the ‘Hands of Asia’ international conference organized by the International People’s Assembly.
He also held high-level talks with major left-wing political forces in Sri Lanka, including a bilateral discussion with the Communist Party of Sri Lanka’s general secretary and politburo members.
Additionally, Prachanda held separate talks with the general secretary of Sri Lanka’s ruling Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, Tilvin Silva, and the party’s politburo.
During his visit, Prachanda also met with leaders of political parties, social activists, researchers, and progressive intellectuals from various countries.
Prachanda had arrived in Sri Lanka on July 15 and returned home on Ashar 29, 2083.
