Nepal’s Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has accused the current government of being formed through violence, vandalism, and arson.

'The current politics is directionless, definitionless, and lacks a clear vision,' Chairman Oli said, adding that 'in a democracy, the government is changed through legal means, but the current government was formed through a different process.'

Chairman Oli made these remarks while addressing a gathering of party cadres in Kathmandu on Ashar 29, 2083.

He further stated that the current government has failed to address the concerns of the people and has instead resorted to suppressing the opposition through violence and intimidation.

Oli also criticized the government's handling of the economy, saying that it has failed to control inflation and has instead allowed prices to skyrocket.

The former Prime Minister also expressed concern over the growing corruption in the country, saying that it has become a major obstacle to development.

Oli's remarks come at a time when the current government is facing criticism from various quarters over its handling of the economy and its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
