Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has stated that his party is still facing attempts to isolate it.

Speaking at the launch of the party’s new website and app at the party’s central office in Kathmandu, Oli claimed that the CPN-UML is not a party that moves forward only on the waves of others.

Party to Move Forward Independently

Oli said that despite facing setbacks, the party’s situation is not one of defeat. ‘We have faced setbacks, but we are not defeated. This indicates that we will move forward, renewed,’ he said.

Oli pointed out that the CPN-UML is a party that has faced and overcome many challenges, including storms, hurricanes, floods, and more. ‘We are not a party that cannot move forward without relying on others. We are an independent and strong party,’ he said.

He emphasized that the party will move forward on its own strength, rather than relying on others. ‘We have come this far on our own, and we will move forward again on our own strength, overcoming challenges and defeating our opponents.’

Oli also mentioned that the CPN-UML is not a party that gets discouraged by adversity or becomes complacent in favorable situations. ‘We are not a party that becomes complacent when things go well or becomes discouraged when faced with difficulties,’ he said.
