The government has announced that it supplied 561,493.85 metric tons of chemical fertilizers by Ashar 24, 2083, which is about 94% of the annual target of 600,000 metric tons.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, a budget of Rs 28.82 billion was allocated for the previous fiscal year.

By Ashar 24, 2083, tenders for the purchase of 491,300 metric tons of chemical fertilizers had been completed.

Fertilizer Supply Details

According to the ministry, 327,579.80 metric tons of urea, 203,426.30 metric tons of DAP, and 30,487.75 metric tons of potash, totaling 561,493.85 metric tons of chemical fertilizers, have been supplied through two companies so far.

During the same period, the country’s warehouses had a stock of 92,592.35 metric tons of chemical fertilizers, including 49,104.30 metric tons of urea, 24,012.85 metric tons of DAP, and 19,475.20 metric tons of potash.

Including the stock from the previous fiscal year, a total of 518,278.55 metric tons of chemical fertilizers were sold by Ashar 24, 2083, comprising 307,016.60 metric tons of urea, 192,931.15 metric tons of DAP, and 18,330.80 metric tons of potash.

Additionally, 288.75 metric tons of chemical fertilizers are being transported, including 86.05 metric tons of urea and 202.70 metric tons of DAP.
