Nepali Congress’s establishment faction has organized a separate event to mark BP Memorial Day.
The faction held a separate event at Pragya Bhawan in Kathmandu, while another faction organized a ‘Green Run’ and other programs to raise awareness about climate change.
A meeting held on Shrawan 3, chaired by outgoing acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka, had decided to celebrate BP Memorial Day separately.
A committee led by former vice-president Prakash Man Singh was formed to organize the event.
Leaders from the establishment faction, including Khadka and Singh, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Mohan Basnet, Bimalendra Nidhi, Shekhar Koirala, and Shashank Koirala, were present at the event.
