Nepal Volleyball League Auction: Chiran and Sanoj in High Demand

The Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) auction is currently underway at the Royal Tulip in Lalitpur. A total of 24 players from Category ‘A’ have been signed by six teams, with each team signing four players. Middle blockers Chiran Khadka and Sanoj Chaudhary were in high demand, with all six teams bidding for their services.

Chiran was eventually signed by the Kathmandu Reds, while Sanoj joined the Karnali Shivraj. The auction will continue with Category ‘B’ players, with 18 players set to be signed by the NVL teams.

The players signed from Category ‘A’ include Rajendra Dhami (Annapurna Spikers), Saroj Bardewa (Khaptad Falcons), Raja Thapa (Madhesh Warriors), Nirpesh Basnet (Karnali Shivraj), Suwash Kunwar (Sagarmatha Smashers), Santosh Rai (Kathmandu Reds), Santosh Vik (Kathmandu Reds), Suren Khatri (Annapurna Spikers), Vinod Chand (Karnali Shivraj), Dhan Bahadur Bhatta (Madhesh Warriors), Vipas Thapa (Khaptad Falcons), Suraj Chunara (Karnali Shivraj), Chiranjivi Khadka (Kathmandu Reds), Ram Vinay Yadav (Madhesh Warriors), Ravi KC (Annapurna Spikers), Prem Prasad Gautam (Khaptad Falcons), Sanoj Chaudhary (Karnali Shivraj), Santosh Mahata (Madhesh Warriors), Vishwas Adhikari (Annapurna Spikers), Baldev Singh Dhami (Kathmandu Reds), Indra Vik (Khaptad Falcons), Bhim Gaha (Sagarmatha Smashers), Rupendra Nepal (Sagarmatha Smashers), and Deepak Raj Joshi (Sagarmatha Smashers).

The auction is set to continue, with the NVL teams looking to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.
