Nepal’s national volleyball team has suffered its third consecutive defeat in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAFA) Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026.
The team lost to Pakistan in a match held in Islamabad on Friday, with a score of 3-0 in straight sets.
This is Nepal’s third loss in the tournament, having previously been defeated by Kazakhstan and Sri Lanka in the first and second matches, respectively.
Pakistan won the first set with a score of 25-14 and the second set with a score of 25-18. The third set was also won by Pakistan with a score of 25-10.
Nepal will next face Bangladesh on Ashar 10, 2083. A total of six countries are participating in the tournament, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals.
