Nepal Ministry Revokes Ramaroshan Chief’s Financial and Administrative Powers

The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs, and General Administration has revoked the financial and administrative powers of the chief of Ramaroshan Municipality in Acham district.

The decision was made after the ministry appointed Branch Officer Tara Datt Bhatta as the chief administrative officer of Ramaroshan Municipality, rendering the chief’s financial and administrative responsibilities redundant.

The ministry has requested that Bhatta be immediately summoned and assigned to regular duties. Additionally, the ministry has instructed the Office of the Comptroller General of Accounts to cancel the financial responsibilities assigned to Jagat Bahadur Rawal.

From now on, the ministry has directed that the municipality’s accounts be operated solely through Bhatta, the newly appointed chief administrative officer.
