Nepal Maoist Leader Viplav Vows to Continue Revolutionary Path

Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Viplav’ has stated that his party will not surrender to the parliamentary system.

Addressing a gathering of party workers in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi, Viplav said that his party will continue to fight against the parliamentary system and foreign interference.

Viplav claimed that the parliamentary system has failed to address the real problems of the country and its people. He argued that the current political system has made the country more dependent and vulnerable instead of making it self-sufficient.

‘We will fight for the country and the people, even if it means fighting alone,’ Viplav told the party workers. ‘However, we will not surrender to the parliamentary system and imperialism.’

Viplav made it clear that despite the ups and downs in the journey of revolution and change, his party will not abandon its principles and values to get stuck in the parliamentary quagmire.

He stated that the main objective of his party is to fight uncompromisingly for the country’s sovereignty, national independence, and people’s rights.

Viplav attributed the current economic and political crisis in Nepal to comprador capitalism and foreign interference. He emphasized the need for patriotic, left-wing, and revolutionary forces to unite.
