Nepal is crucial for India to become a global leader: Rajkishor Yadav

Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal leader Rajkishor Yadav has stated that India cannot become a global leader without Nepal.

Speaking at an event organized by Satya Sanatan Maitri Sangh on ‘Nepal-India’s civic social, religious, economic development and friendly relations’, Yadav said that India cannot become a global leader without Nepal’s support and cooperation.

‘Without Nepal’s philosophy and knowledge, India will remain incomplete,’ he said. ‘India needs Nepal’s cooperation, but it should not be given out of pity.’

Yadav emphasized that India should take the initiative to improve relations with Nepal, citing the importance of their friendship. He also pointed out that powerful countries are trying to create tension between Nepal and India, and that India should take the lead in resolving these issues.

Yadav criticized India’s decision to impose restrictions on the export of Nepali tea, which he said has had a significant impact on Nepali farmers. He urged Nepal to be cautious in its economic relations with India, emphasizing that their relationship goes beyond economic ties and includes social and family connections.

Former Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Singh, noted that the relationship between Nepal and India is not limited to border areas, but has become strained in recent times.
