Nepal Education Secretary Travels to Dhangadhi for Talks with Dr KC

Nepal’s Education Secretary, Chudamani Paudel, has arrived in Dhangadhi to hold talks with Dr Govinda KC, who has been on a hunger strike.

According to the Education Ministry, Secretary Paudel’s visit is aimed at finding a solution to Dr KC’s strike through dialogue. This comes after Education Minister Sashmit Pokharel held a telephone conversation with Dr KC on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister’s health advisor, Dr JP Agrawal, is also scheduled to visit Dhangadhi on Sunday to hold talks with Dr KC. The government has intensified its efforts to find a mutually agreeable solution to Dr KC’s strike through dialogue.
