Nepal-China Trade Route Upgraded After Flood Damage

Nepal’s key trade route with China, the Syaphrubesi-Rasuwagadhi road, is being upgraded with the support of the Chinese government.

The road suffered significant damage in various sections due to last year’s floods in the Lhende River in China.

As part of the reconstruction efforts, the road is being expanded to two lanes.

The upgrade is expected to enhance trade and connectivity between Nepal and China.
