A section of the Narayangadh-Muglin road in Chitwan has reopened after being blocked due to an accident involving a bus and a truck.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, and the Road Division Office, Chitwan, the road is now open to traffic in both directions.
The accident occurred when a bus traveling from Kathmandu to Dang and a truck heading in the opposite direction collided, injuring around 25 passengers.
Accident Causes Traffic Congestion
The road was closed on Saturday night at 10 pm due to heavy rainfall and the risk of landslides, but it was reopened at 6 am on Sunday.
However, the reopening of the road has led to traffic congestion, with many vehicles not following traffic rules and causing jams.
The Road Division Office has appealed to drivers to follow traffic rules and drive at a limited speed to avoid accidents and congestion.
