Janakpur. Madhes Province Chief Surendra Lal Karna has certified two bills passed by the Provincial Assembly today.
The bills certified by Chief Karna include the Bill on the Utilization of Funds from the Madhes Province Reserve Fund for Services and Activities for the Fiscal Year 2083/84 and the Bill on the Implementation of the Financial Proposal of the Madhes Province Government for the Fiscal Year 2083.
According to a statement released by the Office of the Chief, the bills were certified in accordance with Article 201 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal 2072.
With the certification of the two bills, the Madhes Province Government has been given the legal authority to implement the budget for the upcoming fiscal year and to spend funds from the reserve fund.
