Lumbini Province Fails to Implement Ministry Reduction Decision

Lumbini Province government’s decision to reduce the number of ministries from 12 to 8 has not been implemented yet. The provincial cabinet had decided to decrease the number of ministries in Jestha.

Although the decision was made to be effective from Ashar 1, 2083, it has not been put into action. The province is still functioning with 12 ministries.
