A landslide in Ichchhakamana rural municipality-2, Fisling, has blocked the Prithvi Highway, disrupting traffic.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the landslide occurred at around 2:20 am this morning, bringing traffic to a halt.
Police Inspector Rameshwar Paudel said that efforts are being made to clear the road, and traffic will resume once the landslide is cleared.
The Narayangadh-Muglin road section and the Prithvi Highway in Chitwan were closed last night due to the risk of landslides and floods caused by heavy rainfall.
The local administration had imposed a ban on vehicular movement from 10:00 pm last night due to the risk of landslides.
