Kylian Mbappe has won the Golden Boot award for the second consecutive time in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Despite Argentina’s captain Lionel Messi being goalless in the final match, Mbappe secured the top scorer position and won the individual title.
In the thrilling final match that went into extra time, Spain defeated Argentina and won the World Cup title.
Along with the title, Spain also dominated the individual awards of the tournament.
Spain’s Rodrigo Wins Golden Ball
Spain’s midfielder Rodrigo was declared the best player of the tournament, winning the Golden Ball award.
Spain’s young defender Pau Cubarsí was chosen as the best young player, while Spain’s goalkeeper Unai Simón won the Golden Glove award, having conceded only one goal in seven matches.
Spain won their second World Cup title in history by defeating Argentina in the final match.
