India Agrees to Meet Two Demands of Agitating Jharkhand Party

India’s ruling government has agreed to meet two demands of the agitating Jharkhand Party (CJP), according to party spokesperson Aanshutosh Ranka.

The Narendra Modi-led government has given its ‘in-principle’ consent to provide compensation to families affected by the NEET paper leak case and not to take any action against the protesters, Ranka said in a statement.

The agreement was reached after a meeting between CJP representatives and Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh at the Vittal Bhai Patel House in Delhi on Friday.

Ranka said he had apprised the government negotiation team of the people’s discontent and that the anger and discontent of the Indian people would not subside until Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned.

Resignation of Education Minister

According to reports, the government negotiation team has sought time until tomorrow to decide on the resignation of Education Minister Pradhan.

CJP founder Abhijit Deepak has warned that if Education Minister Pradhan does not resign, they will demand the resignation of Prime Minister Modi.
