According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the highest rainfall in the past 24 hours was recorded in Amarapur, Dang, with 107 millimeters of rainfall.
Meteorologist David Dhakal from the department stated that during the same period, 103 millimeters of rainfall were recorded in Sindhupalchok, and 69 millimeters in Parasi, Nawalparasi.
The heavy rainfall has been reported in various parts of the country, with Amarapur receiving the highest amount of rainfall in the past 24 hours.
