The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that the monsoon wind is currently affecting the entire country.
The monsoon low-pressure line is located in the western part of Nepal, slightly north of the average position, and in the eastern part, it is near the average position.
Generally, clouds are covering the entire country, with light to moderate rainfall in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
Heavy Rainfall Warning
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in some areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
Today, during the day, clouds are expected to cover the hilly and mountainous regions, while the Tarai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim provinces will also be cloudy.
The Tarai regions of Madhes and Koshi provinces will be partially cloudy.
There is a possibility of moderate rainfall and thunderstorms in some areas of the hilly and mountainous regions, as well as in the Tarai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
Evening Forecast
Tonight, clouds are expected to cover the entire country, with a possibility of moderate rainfall and thunderstorms in some areas of the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
The Tarai regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as some areas of Koshi and Madhes provinces, may also experience moderate rainfall and thunderstorms.
Heavy rainfall is expected in some areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Koshi provinces.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has warned of possible flash floods, landslides, and soil erosion in the areas where heavy rainfall is expected and has urged people to take necessary precautions to avoid any damage or disruption to daily life, agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road, and air transport.
