Nepali Congress leader Uddhav Thapa has stated that the recent government reshuffle in the Koshi Province has raised questions over federalism.
In an interview, Thapa mentioned that the frequent changes in the government have created instability and have negatively impacted the province.

Thapa expressed concerns that the government reshuffle has undermined the principles of federalism, which is a key aspect of Nepal’s constitution.
"The frequent changes in the government have created a challenge for the federal system," Thapa said.
Future of the Government
Thapa stated that the Nepali Congress is currently discussing its future course of action and is considering three options: forming a new government with the CPN-UML, forming a government with the CPN-Maoist Center, or going into opposition.
"We are discussing our future course of action, and we have three options," Thapa said.
Stability of the Province
Thapa emphasized the importance of stability in the province and expressed concerns that the frequent changes in the government have negatively impacted the province’s development.
"The stability of the province is crucial for its development," Thapa said.
