A 27-year-old man, Surendra Patel, has been arrested in connection with a banking scandal. Patel, a resident of Birgunj Metropolitan City-14, was on the run after being sentenced to three days in prison and a fine of Rs 400,000.
He was arrested by the District Police Office in Parsa. Patel’s arrest comes as a significant development in the case, which had been ongoing for some time.
