Floods have blocked the BP Highway and the Kanti Lokpath due to landslides. In the Kanti Lokpath, specifically in the Bagmati village municipality-3 of Panga Dura in Lalitpur, traffic has been halted after a landslide occurred.
According to the police, the road from Chapagaun to Hetauda is closed. Similarly, on the BP Highway, various locations in wards 7, 8, and 9 of Roshi village municipality in Kavrepalanchok have been affected by landslides, and the increased water flow in the Roshi River has completely halted traffic.
Due to the risk, the police have stopped vehicles traveling from Kavrepalanchok to Sindhuli. In the Arniko Highway, specifically in Bhotekoshi village municipality-2 in Sindhupalchok, a landslide has caused disruptions, and in Bhotekoshi village municipality-4, Jirokili, the road has been damaged, affecting traffic.
On the Prithvi Highway, a landslide that occurred last night in Jawang Khola in Benighat Rorang village municipality-10 in Dhading has been cleared, and two-way traffic is now operational, according to the Dhading District Police Office.
As of the time of this report, there were no obstructions on the Narayangadh-Muglin and Muglin-Kathmandu road sections, the police said.
